Crosby G-2160 Bolt Type Wide Body Shackles have an increased shackle bow radius which provides a minimum 58% gain in sling bearing surface and eliminates the need for a thimble. Crosby Wide Body Shackles greatly improve the wearability of high strength round slings, wire rope slings, and synthetic web slings. Equipped with the Easy-Loc V2 shackle bolt which reduces install/release times by up to 90%. Importantly, these shackles meet other critical performance requirements including fatigue life, impact properties and material traceability, not addressed by ASME B30.26.

• Forged alloy steel – quenched and tempered for maximum strength
• Individually proof tested and magnetic particle inspected
• Increases usable sling strength minimum of 15% and greatly improves life of wire rope slings
